The Carpentry and Joinery Level 3 course will develop your knowledge of Carpentry and Joinery so that you can embark on a rewarding career or maybe you are already working in a related field and want to improve your career prospects, then this is the course for you.

Carpentry is a skilled trade in which the primary work performed is the use of wood to construct items as large as buildings and as small as desk drawers.

On completion of this course, you will be able to transform wood into saleable items, from tables to rocking-horses. You will also understand the different types of timber and the process involved preparing it for use.

There is a high demand for Carpenters at the moment and as a Carpenter you will enjoy a relatively high income, meeting the demand for uniquely produced objects.

The course will be delivered by post including Tutor Support for 12 months. All assignments are marked by one of our professional Tutors who will offer regular feedback and guide you through your course. Postal assignments cannot be accepted without prior permission from the tutor and you must have access to email in order to contact your Tutor.

Assessment

This course is openly available to anyone who wishes to take part in a highly rewarding home study course. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.

Course Outcome

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from ABC Awards and Certa Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).
