Description

The Health and Social Care Level 2 course will provide you with an introduction; enabling employers to take you seriously knowing that you have a thorough understanding of the role of a health and social care worker.

You will develop a critical and analytical approach to problem-solving within the health, social-care and early-years sectors.  By the end of the course you will be aware of the influences on an individual’s health and well-being, and have an understanding of the importance of motivation and support when improving health.

You do not require a work placement to complete this course and you can study in your own time with the support of your Tutor.

Support

The course will be delivered online including Tutor Support for 12 months. All assignments are marked by one of our professional Tutors who will offer regular feedback and guide you through your course. Postal assignments cannot be accepted without prior permission from the tutor and you must have access to email in order to contact your Tutor.

You will be provided with the telephone number for your dedicated Student Support Team who will be available for any other queries that you may have whilst completing your course. You can be assured that you will receive unlimited support for your home study course, so there is no need to struggle or feel isolated during your studies.

Assessment

You must successfully complete a series of assignments. Once all assignments have been completed satisfactorily, you will then be awarded your certificate.  The good news is, there is no final exam.

Will I require any previous knowledge to start this course?

You do not need any prior learning knowledge or experience to take this course. This course is openly available to anyone who wishes to take part in a highly rewarding home study course. You have the freedom to start the course at any time and continue your studies at your own pace for a period of up to 12 months from initial registration with the full support of your Tutor.

Awarding Organisation

abstract-education-distance-learningAt the end of this course successful learners will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement by Abstract Education and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the details of all of the units you have completed as part of your course).

The Level 2 Health and Social Care course has been benchmarked at a level 2 which would give you some indication as to the difficulty of this course.  I.e., GCSE would be equivalent to Level 2 and A’ Level would be equivalent to Level 3.
